RIMS community air deep concern

RIMS community has expressed deep concern with the"unwanted action of a group of people in RIMS campus".
A meeting of Non Teaching Employees Welfare Union (NTEWU), Contract Employee Welfare Association (CEWA), RIMS Nurses Association Lamphelpat (RNAL), RIMS Students' Union (RIMSSU), Dental College Employees Welfare Association (DCEWA) was held at the institute today and discussed the matter relating to the unfortunate demise of Sanaton Athokpam today, said a joint statement of the organisations.
Sharing the grief and pain of the bereaved family, the organisations said that they are also aware that the JAC (Justice For Sanaton Athokpam) is currently engaged in bringing about justice in the matter.
"All of us are aware that the State Government has already ordered a Magisterial enquiry into the death of Sanaton Athokpam to be conducted by Additional Magistrate, Imphal West under Section 176 CrPC.
If anybody knows truth, they should approach the enquiry team as per laws of the land" .
RIMS is a Temple of learning for many students of this Nation.
RIMS is also an institute where many lives are saved, they said appealing to the JAC (Justice For Sanaton Athokpam) to not disturb the student community of RIMS, Imphal who are currently appearing their professional examinations and also extending their service to the patients.
