Varun Dhawan celebrates his birthday on April 24 and thus one of his fans made a 'common DP' dedicated to the actor. The handsome hunk took to his social media pages and shared the photo with a caption stating, "Be safe, guys". However, Varun's tweet did not go well with the netizens and called out the actor for not being 'sensible' during the difficult times people are facing owing to the coronavirus pandemic.
After facing backlash, Varun hit the delete button and vanished the tweet from the micro-blogging website. Not only that, VD even replied the reason behind sharing the CDP and said that he realises this is not something to be posted about in current times.
One of the tweets read as "Oh Varun. I thought you're one of the sensible ones." To which Varun replied, "Well it was to make someone happy who made the graphic and requested it but I guess this medium Shouldn’t be used for that right now."
