Vodafone network scores best on 3G and 4G in Portugal

Vodafone Portugal achieved the best performance for 3G and 4G networks, but was the worst on GSM, according to the report on the quality of service of mobile networks in mainland Portugal released by the National Communications Authority (Anacom). The mobile networks of Meo, Nos and Vodafone had on average good GSM wireless coverage and adequate UMTS and LTE coverage, the report found. However, the quality varied in urban areas, and the worst performances were in predominantly rural areas.
