GE Renewable Energy to supply 110 MW wind turbines to CleanMax

GE Renewable Energy on Wednesday said they will supply 42 onshore wind turbines with 110 MW capacity to Mumbai-based renewable energy firm, CleanMax. It added that these turbines are for CleanMax’s three wind hybrid projects that would help meet the electricity demands of various industrial companies in Karnataka and Gujarat.

“This marks the beginning of what we hope will be a long-lasting partnership positioning GE Renewable Energy as a trusted renewable energy partner for companies and governments,” said Gilan Sabatier, Regional Leader for GE Renewable Energy’s Onshore Wind Business in South Asia and ASEAN.

According to the company press release, the turbines will be supplied under a 10-year full-service agreement. It added that the turbines are designed to efficiently capitalise on India’s low wind speeds.
