Hyderabad: At a time when many of us are dreaming about job security and perhaps looking for opportunities in higher education, Karimnagar-born Sai Abhinay Chepuri has already set up two businesses and wants to set up his third business soon. This 21-year-old Telangana boy, inspired by his father and grandfather, who were not only businessmen but also well-meaning, started two companies with a vision to help people in need in his way. His efforts helped 25 Telangana farmers with about 185 hectares of land.
The first company called Make It Memorable (MIM) was established in 2018 to help young people with skills to find work through opportunities it organizes. Another launch in 2020 called Enviropromise helps farmers with new-era agricultural practices and Freshspouts sell through its sub-brand the farmers’ products. The launch has helped all 80 farmers in four states with urban farming techniques and the app helps farmers understand organic farming techniques through artificial intelligence and is available in 50 native languages.
“I have always been a nature lover since my childhood. I was born and raised in Yangal, Karimnagar District, and it was part of my childhood to be with farmers. While my father was a businessman, he never shied away from helping people in need. It stayed with me even after I moved out of town and went to Lovely Professional University (LPU) for my engineering degree. “Since I was part of the college placement committee, I thought about starting my first MIM business, and helped about 70 people get jobs,” said Abhinay Chepuri.
However, his business journey did not stop here because he wanted to do something for the farming community. And after discussing many ideas with his peers and college professors, the idea of Enviropromise took shape and in the last year of its launch, the company worked on 500 hectares of land in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala.
Over time, Abhinay looks at the space for recycling technology and works on an idea to turn plastic into brick and also look at replicas of plastic. ‘We will be looking for money from June. We have about 60 employees working in both the new businesses, and once I have completed my engineering, I plan to move the base to Hyderabad and hire more people as soon as I set up my office here, ” the young man said. said.
