Japan’s PM postpones his India visit amid resurgence of COVID cases

Japan has recently reported fresh spike in number of coronavirus cases specially in cities like Tokyo and Osaka.

Japan’s Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga has postponed his India visit in light of resurgence of COVID cases. Mr. Suga was scheduled to visit India later this month.

Both India and Japan have also decided to postpone their foreign and defense ministerial talks which were scheduled for this weekend in Tokyo due to a rapid increase in coronavirus cases in both the countries.
