The state government has appointed three IAS officers as the nodal officers for COVID-19 management.

The order issued by the Secretary (Revenue) Sanjay Kumar, who is also a member secretary of State Executive Committee and State Disaster Management Authority, the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes Hemant Kumar has assigned the duty for monitoring of bed allocation in all the hospitals and availability of essential COVID related drugs, the director of Industries, Trade and Commerce Swetika Sachan for management and allocation of oxygen supply in all the hospitals and the director of Information Technology Ankita Anand for COVID helpline and technology support for COVID management.

The order stated that these nodal officers shall work in coordination with the Secretary (Health) and both district collectors under the Disaster Management Act, 2004 and shall submit such reports as required by the state executive committee and the secretary (Health) from time to time.
