CHANDIGARH: Additional chief secretary Sanjeev Kaushal said on Tuesday that the situation of Covid-19 pandemic was under control in Haryana and there was no need to impose a lockdown in the state.
During a meting with the concerned officials in Faridabad district, Kaushal directed them to ensure availability of 30% beds in private and government hospitals for Covid-19 patients.
He further directed the officials to guide the patients under isolation to follow the necessary health guidelines.
He said that about 60 to 70 per cent of such patients won’t require hospitalisation.
Kaushal said that 90 per cent of
RT-PCR tests were being done in Haryana.
Kaushal directed the officers to increase contact tracing of patients and keep an eye on the containment zones.
