Charter prices USD 1 billion offering

Charter Communications has priced an offering of USD 1 billion worth of senior unsecured notes due 2033. The notes will bear interest at a rate of 4.500 percent year year. Money raised from the offering will be put towards general corporate purposes, including potential buybacks and paying down debt. The offering is expected to close on 22 April.
