Eastern Province Elephants coach Peter de Villiers has again highlighted the need for improved refereeing standards in South Africa.
De Villiers recently hit out at the refereeing standards during his side's preparation series campaign.
EP lost all four of their matches handily and also received a number of red cards for ill-discipline.
After a 43-0 home loss to Griquas last month, De Villiers lamented that every 50-50 call always went against his side.
"When you look at our matches, it's like the 50-50 decisions are always against us. Look at how other teams get away with things that we are penalised for at the breakdowns.
"These are South Africa's referees in general. I get the feeling that some referees go on to the field with a preconceived attitude," he said.
The former Springbok mentor copped flak for his comments but over the weekend took another dig at the standard of refereeing, this time citing a controversial red card awarded in the Varsity Cup.
"I took some flak for criticising SA Refereeing standards a few weeks back and then you see someone getting sent off for being run in to..... It's not good enough and standards need to be raised," De Villiers wrote on Twitter with a video accompanying the incident.
