NPF, Senapati Division accords active membership to Siile Anthony

Senapati, April 19 2021: The Naga People's Front (NPF), Senapati Division accorded active membership to Kh Siile Anthony, distinguished intellectual and former Government officer at its head office, Senapati.

A warm reception was given to the newly enrolled leader who recently joined the party from BJP.

Speaking on the occasion, Kh Siile Anthony stated that he joined the BJP while the Congress party was in power at the centre.

Even without the active participation in electoral politics, Kh Siile Anthony stated that he actively involved in political activities while he was in the university.

With the BJP in power both in the State and the Centre, he said that he was tempted to contest the last MP election in 2019 from a BJP ticket.

Kh Siile Anthony mentioned that while he was in Delhi for about 32 years, he actively worked for Naga Students Union from 1990-91 and also served as the cultural secretary and advisor for the union.

Having learned from his mistakes in the past, the leader stated that he realised the need to join the Naga People's Front (NPF) in order to come to the fold as "Love begins at home" .

Kh Siile Anthony further stated that the party should aim to get a majority in the coming assembly election out of the 11 Naga constituencies in order to strengthen the NPF as a regional party.

The programme was attended by former ADC members of NPF, executives of Senapati division, Assembly Constituencies, District Council Constituencies and supporters of the leader under strict observance of Covid Appropriate Behaviours.
