Salaar is an upcoming Pan-Indian film which is written and directed by 'KGF' fame Prashanth Neel. The movie features Prabhas and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles and it is funded by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films banner. The movie will be shot in Kannada and Telugu and will also release in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.

The movie has music composed by ravi Basrur and the cinematography is handled by bhuvan Gowda. kannada actor Madhu Guruswamy is set to play a pivotal role in this movie. prabhas has currently joined the sets of 'Radhe Shyam' for the final schedule. After wrapping up the formalities, he will be back to the sets of 'Salaar' and the team will begin the shooting formalities. He will also join the sets of 'Adi Purush' on a parallel note.


Now, shruti Haasan's role in 'Salaar' has been revealed and the actress will be seen as a journalist in the movie. Her role will be similar to that of genelia D'Souza's role in the tamil movie 'Velayutham'. shruti haasan will also have some action sequences in the movie. The team will start shooting shruti Haasan's portions after completing initial action scenes with Prabhas. Stay tuned for more updates.
