Siemens supplies critical Covid diagnostics equipment to GMCH

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Apr 20 (UNI) Siemens Limited supplied critical equipment required for Covid-19 diagnosis to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Aurangabad from its corporate social responsibility funds on Tuesday.
The equipment include a fully-automated RNA extractor instrument, 1,00,000 units of ICMR-approved magnetic bead-based Nucleic acid extraction (Covid-19 RNA) and 2 real-time PCR (polymerase chain reaction) analyzer instruments with data station.
"We would like to support the local authorities in Aurangabad in the fight against Covid-19. The equipment will further strengthen the capacity of Aurangabad in its response to Covid and help save lives," said Sunil Mathur, managing director and chief executive officer, Siemens Limited, in an official press statement issued here.
