Thread: Anybody know a person who went through a 'criminal phase' of life?

Is this sh*t 'normal'?

Like I know this dude who went to a prestigious school, uni, and was involved in crime for a solid stretch of maybe 6 or 7 years until he realised that it doesn't work, so he just got a corporate job and done what 'everybody else does' anyway, which I presume was his biggest fear, since he has thing weird attitude where he's like a 'good person' even though he doesn't appear to be, because nobody understands him or something.

He even likes watching the assassins creed movie because he relates to the character being stuck between two worlds, and how the 'dark' appearing side (comprised of crooks) in the movie are actually good, and the 'light' are not.

He likes the conspiracies and stuff, also, like about the illuminati, etc.

Is this bizarre, or is it 'just a phase'?

Shocking. Only peasants commit crime. How did a peasant manage to go to a "prestigious school"? Did they get a scholarship or something or was a criminal ring at work in getting them through admissions?

Landlords absolutely love housing welfare, because that way, they can usually charge exorbitant rents and get guaranteed income, because the tenants are on government housing welfare amirite?

Sounds like you're projecting onto him - so you feel like you're a try hard and project it onto him.

What he would say to you is that plenty of rick people commit white collar crime and get away with it - that the system is designed to protect those criminals.

Yeah I know what projection is, but not every personality trait that one finds irritating is automatically a case of projection, now is it? Like lets say you personally find it annoying when people are rude to waiters, does that mean that you are rude to waiters yourself and are projecting it onto them? That's the thing about projection, you only register something if it already exists in your state of consciousness.

If somebody was rude to a waiter, it wouldn't piss me off or anything where I feel bad, unless I express that sort of behaviour else where, so I project and feel hatred and contempt.

Sure I'd wonder why they were rude, but that's about it.

I've been less angry at randoms people on the street swearing at me than I have at my friend asking me about my sex life to compare and measure.
