The K-Pop heroes BTS are one of the biggest boy bands in the global music industry. They have a huge fan following across the globe and this year's Grammy nomination has just amplified it. While their fans yearn to meet their favourite stars, one lucky BTS Army accidentally got a chance to meet BTS member Jungkook during the latter's vacation. Many might not know that unlike other band members, the Big Hit Entertainment had requested the BTS Army to respect the BTS members' privacy during their vacation following their world tour. "Should you have a chance encounter with a member of BTS while they are on vacation, we ask that you show consideration for their need to rest and enjoy their private time off," the official Twitter handle of Big Hit Entertainment had tweeted. And when a BTS fan unexpectedly met Jungkook while dining at the same restaurant, the fan respected the BTS member's privacy. She wrote on Twitter that the restaurant is frequently visited by the BTS Army since it showcases an autograph by Jungkook. The fan and her friends walked towards the washroom and came back to have their fangirl moment while pretending they did not notice him. One of the older fan asked the restaurant's owner if it would be possible to ask Jungkook for an autograph. And the BTS member happily agreed. Jungkook also came to their table and asked their names in the sweetest way possible. They also felt sorry to ask him for an autograph during his vacation. To which, Jungkook replied saying that he would give them an autograph since he doesn't have much time.
The fans burst into tears as Jungkook obliged them with an autograph and even shook hands with the older Army. He then left the restaurant and even waved to them while zooming away in his car. Jungkook had also showed his tattoos in his hand which spelled ARMY. The fan said that Jungkook also left a new autograph for the restaurant to appreciate the meals.
This year, the septet earned their first Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, but they lost out to Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category. This is the third consecutive year that BTS has participated at the Grammy Awards. In 2019, they first appeared as presenters for Best R&B Album, and last year the band took the stage for Old Town Road alongside Lil Nas X and other performers.
