Jammu, Apr 19 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday informed that 1516 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (768 from Jammu division and 748 from Kashmir division), have been reported thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 148,208.
Also six deaths have been reported, two from Jammu Division and four from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 813 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals including 207 from Jammu Division and 606 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 148,208 positive cases, 12,164 are active Positive, 133981 have recovered and 2063 have died-766 in Jammu division and 1297 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 6794193 test results available, 6645985 samples have been tested as negative till April 19, 2021.
Till date 1677,798 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 70,442 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 12,164 in isolation and 128,080in home surveillance.
Besides, 1465049 persons have completed their surveillance period.
