American Idol's Alyssa Wray Wows On Oscars Night with 'This Is Me' Performance (Video)

The latest episode of American Idol was all about the Oscars and the contestants performed music that had been nominated for Academy Awards in the past.

One of the highlights of the night was when Alyssa Wray put her spin on the song “This Is Me” from the movie The Greatest Showman!

Alyssa, who has experience in the theater community, is no stranger to performing songs from musicals on Idol. She previously has performed music from The Color Purple and Dreamgirls.

The judges had a lot of praise for Alyssa and Lionel Richie noted how she held out on the vocal dynamics, making us wait for those power notes until the end.
