Soccer clubs jump on proposal for elite Super League

Manchester United MANU, +6.74% shares rose 5% in early premarket action, and Juventus Football Club rose 7% in Milan, after 12 elite soccer clubs announced the formation of the so-called Super League. Borussia Dortmund xe:bvb, which isn't part of the league as yet, jumped 8%. Most of the teams involved in the proposed new league, including Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, are not publicly traded.
