#Kolkata: The administration is concerned about the coronavirus situation in the state. An emergency meeting was held at Alipur on Monday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Firhad Hakim. All wards will be sanitized from tomorrow to deal with corona. Four or five safe homes can be created. The idea of making a ‘safe home’ of 500 beds in passing. Besides, Kishore Bharati can also have a ‘safe home’ of 500 wards.
The meeting was attended by top officials of the Urban Development Department, Advisory Physician and Rajya Sabha MP Shantanu Sen, and Physician Abhijit Chowdhury. It has been decided that several more quarantine centers will also be set up in the state.
It is learned that a 600-bed safe home may be set up at Anandapur and a 200-bed safe home at Gitanjali Stadium. The state government has planned to provide 2000 beds in this way.
