Sodium hypochlorite spray is applied twice daily in areas where more Covid cases were recorded. Authorities made 3,000 liters of the chemical available in each GHMC zone. Emergency teams were assembled at the zone and circle level.
The spraying work was mainly focused on urban health centers, basti dawakhanas, places of worship, markets and other public places.
