Published on : Monday, April 19, 2021

Rocky Mountaineer has decided to delay the start of its Canadian travel season until July 5. The luxury train operator had previously hoped to begin offering services in June but had to change plans due to rising coronavirus cases and COVID-19 related travel restrictions.

Peter Armstrong, Founder and Interim Chief Executive, Rocky Mountaineer said in a statement that the company is extremely disappointed to be forced to delay the start of the season, but they are still very optimistic about restarting travel in July. He mentioned that the team is eagerly working to prepare the trains for operations, and shared that everyone is looking forward to getting back to what the company does best, which is hosting guests for an incredible experience on board the trains.
