Oppo A54 launched in India, price starts at ₹13,490

Oppo on Monday announced the launch of a new handset under its A-series. Called A54, the handset is priced at ₹13,490 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. There are two more models with 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB combinations, priced at ₹14,490 and ₹15,990 respectively.

Oppo A54 will be available via Flipkart and retail outlets. Customers who purchase the phone on Flipkart will be eligible for a flat ₹1000 instant discount on HDFC Bank cards and Credit Card EMI transactions. Existing Oppo customers can also upgrade to the A54 and get a ₹1,000 additional exchange discount. Oppo A54 comes in three colours - Crystal Black, Starry Blue, and Moonlight Gold.

Oppo A54 Specifications and features

The handset is about 8.4mm slim and weighs around 192 grams. The phone features a 6.5-inch display with an LCD panel. It has a punch-hole cut out as well. The display has HD+ resolution, 269 ppi, 60Hz refresh rate and 89.2% screen-to-body ratio.

It comes with a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 13-megapixel primary sensor, 2-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

For performance, the handset relies on an octa-core processor with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of built-in storage. It packs a 5,000mAh battery coupled with 18W fast charging support. On the software front, it runs ColorOS 7.2.

Other features of the phone are face recognition, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, SLO-MO at 720P at 90FPS with the rear camera, and up to 10 video Filters. It also has a Black Screen Mode, which turns your screen black as you’re playing a video to help conserve battery.
