‘Sub Rosa’ – A Multiplayer FPS of Deals & Double Crosses

Sub Rosa sees you working out deals between dangerous folks for cash and valuable disks. And when that doesn’t work, you shoot each other.

Not much in the world is free, so you’re going to have to work hard to afford the weapons, cars, and clothes you need to do this job and look good while doing it. This means you’ll have to do some missions when you arrive in town, which revolve around selling a disk, acquiring a disk with your cash, and otherwise trading up for better money depending on what you specifically need. Now, this all sounds a bit like a peaceful trade, but why spend all that money when you could get a disk by killing its current owner? Why not set traps to increase your earnings?

The result is this tense balance between teams, where everyone is debating what will get them the most funds in the long run. Is it worth the risk to open fire on the other team rather than take the safe trade? Is someone on the other team acting a bit strangely, making you think this is a trap? Are you thinking of ignoring what your teammates want and starting some trouble? So much can go wrong with multiple people all able to turn a peaceful exchange into pure mayhem (cars and guns make this awfully tempting), so you always need to be ready to react to what goes down.

Sub Rosa is an incredible exercise in tension between players and teams, giving you the option to carefully carry out an exchange or end it in a bloodbath. With so many players in the mix as well, everyone will be coiled tight, fingers on triggers.
