Showmax cuts cost of mobile-only entertainment plan

Monday 19 April 2021 | 11:19 CET | News
African streaming service Showmax says its mobile subscribers across Africa will now pay on average 20 percent less for access to the full Showmax catalogue on a single mobile device.  Promotional bundles will be unaffected by this change.  So far this year, the company has released four Showmax Originals, namely 'Tali's Baby Diary', the small-town psychological thriller 'Dam', the Kenyan police procedural 'Crime and Justice' in co-production with Canal+, and reality series 'I Am Laycon' featuring Big Brother Naija Season 5 winner Lekan Agbeleshe.
