China is by far the largest trading partner and has decades of providing billions in military aid and economic investments in natural resource production to Afghanistan

The two countries share a border and Afghanistan has increasingly been pushing for a more open border with China and openly wants to be part of the China sphere of influence

Another country going through anti-democrat turmoil is Myanmar which also shares a border with China, keep in mind that the pro-US democratically elected government in Myanmar was taken over by an anti-US/pro-China military coup

Interesting Afghanistan and Myanmar are the largest opium producers in the world and account for over 80% of all opium consumed on this planet

So its fairly clear that China intends to increase its direct control over both Afghanistan and Myanmar which is potentially a global security threat as controlling the largest drug sources would effectively give them control over the black markets in addition to their ever growing global business influence

On Taiwan, the word on the street is that the military elites in Taiwan are potentially more loyal to CCP China and when China makes a move to exert real control over Taiwan are more likely to arrest the government officials in Taiwan with the backing of Beijing...
