Salman Khan is one of the most loved and cherished movie stars in Bollywood, and he has a massive fan following.

Today the actor is a mega superstar and all his movies are mega-blockbuster hits and he is considered as of the most bankable stars.

There was a time when Salman Khan's movie used to flop at the Box office but post Wanted 2008 he got his massive hit after years and became the Box office king.

He is also in news for his show Bigg Boss which has become a brand and a cult show.

But did you know there were some movies which Salman rejected and it made the life of other stars?

Here are some of the movies rejected by Salman Khan:

1 Baazigar

Baazigar was one of the successful movies of the 90s and made Shah Rukh Khan the person that he is today but before it was offered to SRK the movie was offered to Salman Khan but then he refused it as he thought playing anti-hero was risky at that time, it lent SRK in getting the filmfare for the best actor award.

2. Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge

Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge is one of the most cult films of the industry and in fact, it's still running in cinemas today.  It made SRK and Kajol an iconic pair of television, But the lesser-known fact is that the role was initially offered to Salman Khan but he rejected the role of Raj and instead convinced Shahrukh Khan to take up the role.

3. Kal Ho Na Ho

Kal Ho Na Ho is considered as one of SRK’s finest performances but made Saif Ali Khan an A-lister actor. But before Saif wasn’t the first choice of the movie as the movie was first offered to Salman but since he didn’t want to play a second role to Saif he rejected the movie.

4. Chak De India

Chak De India is one of the most celebrated movies of Bollywood, but SRK wasn’t the first choice for the role it was Salman Khan the actor rejected the movie because his image was totally different as he had done movies like Partner and all. He said it wasn’t his genre of move at that time.

5. -Ghajini

Ghajini was a mega super hit movie and this movie began the trend of 100 crore club, but a lesser-known fact is that when the movie was offered to Aamir Khan he suggested the name of Salman Khan but then the actor refused it reasons best known to him, and post that Aamir was fantastic as the lead of the movie.

No doubt that these movies made the career of SRK and Aamir Khan but though Salman refused these movies today he is a mega superstar and all his movies are blockbuster hits.
