Haryana reports 7,177 Covid-19 cases, 29 deaths

CHANDIGARH: Haryana on Sunday reported 7,177 cases and 29 deaths on Sunday. 3,489 persons recovered during the day.
Gurugram continued to report over 2,000 cases while Kaithal reported the highest four casualty in single day,
Notably, besides Gurugram and Faridabad, which reported highest cases, Sonipat, Hisar and Karnal reported more than 500 cases.
Now with day’s count, Haryana’s Covid tally has gone to 35,69,71 cases, 31,13,39 recoveries, 3,415 deaths and 42,217 active cases. Notably, adding to the worries of health authorities, count of level three patients who are on oxygen support and ventilator support across the state has gone to 534.
Highest four deaths were reported from Kaithal followed by three deaths each from Jind, Yamunanagar, Hisar and Faridabad districts. Two deaths each were reported from Gurugram, Ambala, Karnal, Sirsa, Bhiwani and Fatehabad districts. While one death was reported from Kurukshetra
Notably Gurugram reported highest 2,401 cases during the day. Here tally has gone to 81,739 cases, 378 deaths and 12,195 active cases. Faridabad reported second highest 998 cases where tally has gone to 55,748 cases, 442 deaths and 5,197 active cases. Sonepat reported third highest 573 cases where overall cunt has gone to 19463.
Hisar reported 521 cases and Karnal has reported 501 cases. Jind reported 230 cases followed by Ambala with 221 cases, Sirsa 214 cases and Panipat with 208 cases respectively.
Increased positive cases continue to impact Covid positive and recovery rate of the state, Haryana has has reported a Covid positivity rate of 5.23% and recovery rate has dipped further to 87.22%. A total 43883 samples during the day took the overall testing to 6853496 with a testing rate of 270355 tests per million per day.
