NEW DELHI:
Bihar on Sunday became the latest state to impose a night curfew amid an
unprecedented surge in coronavirus infections.

Nitish Kumar announced that a curfew will remain in force across the state from 9pm to 5am.
"All shops selling vegetables, fruits, eggs and meat will be closed by 6pm. Restaurants and dhabas to be operational for home delivery and take away services will be allowed till 9pm," Nitish Kumar said.
He said that schools, colleges and other educational institutes will remain closed and no examination will be held by state-run schools as well as universities till May 15.
Cinema halls, malls, clubs, gyms, religious places and parks will also remain closed till May 15, he said.
He said government offices will only function with 33% strength till 5pm.
Kumar also said that his government has decided to provide bonus salary of one month to all healthcare workers this year also.
