World Art Day was celebrated at the Indian Museum on 15 April. Creation of a bunch of artists like Subrata Gangopadhyay, Pradeep Maitra, Opportunity Bandyopadhyay, Amit Bhar, Subrata Kar, Subrata Das, Sameer Sarkar, Life Painting. Accompanied by Indian music and instrumental music. Calcutta witnessed an artistic evening at the beginning of the year.
