Gangtok, April 17: The Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang inaugurated a Private Complex, Annexure building and Super-speciality wing at STNM, Sochyagang in the capital.
The State Government has tirelessly striving to improve the health sector in the State and provide world-class facilities to the people. The super-speciality wing consists of Gastroenterology, Paediatric Surgery, Urology, Plastic Reconstructive and Burns unit, Neurosurgery and Surgical Oncology.
The Chief Minister also interacted with the Medical Superintendent, HODs, and doctors to assess the situation in each department. They informed the Chief Minister on the work being carried out and also put forth their views on improving productivity and making the hospital much more efficient.
