Fear of lockdown attracts migrant workers in Telangana

Hyderabad: As the country experiences a nationwide boom COVID-19 In those cases, the migrant workers are terrified in anticipation of another closure. Thousands of them return to their homeland in cars, trucks and trains.

In the Telangana state, about 30 lakh employees are employed in GHMC limits. They work in the construction sector, pubs, restaurants, hotels, plywood businesses, chemical businesses, etc. Over the past few days, a large number of migrant workers have left the state.

A similar trend has also been seen in the case of migrant workers from the states of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal, Odisha, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and other states.

There is a sense of panic and the workers are afraid of losing their food again to the pandemic. Locking up last year has raised fears of similar hardships.
