Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer has been impressed by what he's seen from youngster Azola Tshobeni and reckons he has a bright future.
Tshobeni turned heads in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge last season and earned himself a promotion to the senior Buccaneers squad at the start of the current campaign.
The 18-year-old has since made five DStv Premiership appearances for Zinnbauer's men, and the German tactician believes Tshobeni has great potential.
"We have to be careful with young players. You can make mistake if you put players in wrong time in the game. You know players are young and need time," said Zinnbauer, as quoted by KickOff.
"So, it's always likely (his performance) to go high and then drop, it go high and drop. It's normal in these football times.
"But he is a good player. With time, he has a good future. If it goes the way, he is destined for success 100%.
"In Africa, it's very difficult, you see aggressive players like the last two games. It's not easy. It can disrupt his confidence if you make wrong decision or sub. But Azola was in both games on the bench.
"It's a player that we say he has a future here. He has time, knows it and he understands what we want. He is a clever player."
