New Delhi, Apr 17 (UNI) The national capital on Saturday reported the largest single-day spike of 24,375 fresh cases of COVID-19 while 167 people lost their lives.
The new additions took the City's caseload to 8,27,998 and the death toll to 11,960.
The positivity rate in Delhi reached 24.56 per cent from Friday's 19.69 per cent.
As many as 99,230 people were tested in the past day.
In the meantime,15,414 people were cured and discharged in the past 24 hours taking the total recoveries to 746,239.
Currently, there are 32,156 COVID patients under home isolation across the city.
The number of active cases is 69,799 which includes patients under home isolation.
Containment zones also rose to 112,35.
