Hyderabad: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) synchronized another 28 MW solar power plant in Mandamarri in the Mancherial district with the TSTransco on Saturday. This power station is part of the 300 MW solar power plants installed by Singareni. A few days ago, the SCCL synchronized the 15 MW solar power plant in Mandamarri with the Transco.
Singareni director (operations) S Chandrashekhar and director (electrical and maintenance) D Satyanarayana and other union leaders performed puja before turning on the power station and synchronizing it with the Transco network. With this, 43 MW of 90 MW solar power has been synchronized so far.
From the installation of 300 MW solar power plant, 30 MW each of Manuguru and Ramagundam, 39 MW of Illandu and 10 MW of the Singareni thermal power plant have already been synchronized, in addition to the 43 MW solar power.
The congratulatory officials for their initiative to synchronize the power station with Transco, the chairman of SCCL and managing director N Sridhar said that the works regarding the installation of 47 MW plants in the second phase and 81 megawatts plant in the third phase at October 2021 will be completed.
The SCCL will save R20 million in wind power costs annually by installing the solar power plants, and efforts were underway to install another 350 MW of power plants on the Manair Dam in the Karimnagar district, officials said.
