Hyderabad: A government employee at Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL) has been arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau in Hyderabad for allegedly accepting and demanding bribes worth Rsus 35,000.
The accused identified as Gajawada Manohar who worked as a departmental engineer (commercial) in the general manager (commercial). He was caught red-handed in the room by ACB officials on Thursday, according to an official statement.
The currency was also recovered from the possession of the accused officer. The accused officer was arrested. He was produced before the court in Hyderabad, he said. Further investigation is underway.
