FINAL CALL FOR application for MFA 2020-21

PWF invites applications from bona fide journalists and retired journalists to avail its Medical Financial Assistance (MFA) Scheme for phase-2 for the year 2020-21, eligible for treatment expenses incurred between 1st October, 2020 to 31st March 2021.

The final submission deadline is 20th April 2021 and the distribution of the assistance will take before the current month ends.

PWF’s MFA scheme is an annual financial assistance offered in two phases interspersed by six months. Having disbursed MFA Phase -1 in October 2020, PWF hereby issues its final call for MFA Phase-2 to be disbursed by the end of this month.

Paomee Welfare Foundation came into being in 2017 to independently managed AMWJU’s corpus Funds of over Rs 85 lakhs, raised by way of a Mega Lottery organized in 2017.

The Foundation offers one-time medical financial assistance to its retired and present members. Present members who may also nominate one of their immediate family members as beneficiary.

PWF funds its medical assistance scheme out of the interest earned from the corpus fund kept as fixed deposit with State Bank of India.
