Pawan Kalyan Tests Positive For COVID-19; Confirms Jana Sena Party’s Latest Tweet

Days after going into isolation, Power Star Pawan Kalyan has tested positive for Coronavirus. As per the latest tweet of his political party Jana Sena, the actor has tested positive and is currently undergoing treatment for the same.

A statement has also been issued by the party in this regard. Reportedly, the actor complained of chest congestion today, after which he consulted a doctor. As per reports, Pawan Kalyan's health condition is now stable and there are no complications whatsoever.

On a related note, earlier, the actor went into self-isolation after a few members of his managerial and security staff tested positive for COVID-19.

On the work front, Pawan Kalyan is basking in the success of his latest venture Vakeel Saab. Directed by Venu Sriram, the courtroom drama is the official Telugu remake of the Bollywood film Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. Vakeel Saab has been garnering positive response from the audience. With its worldwide theatrical run post the COVID-19 induced lockdown, the film has entered the elite Rs 100 crore club. Also featuring Nivetha Thomas, Shruti Haasan, Anjali, Ananya Nagalla and Prakash Raj, the film was released on April 9.

Notably, Vakeel Saab marked Pawan Kalyan's re-entry in films after almost 3 years. The project is backed by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor under Sri Venkateswara Creations and Bayview Projects.
