Three private equity investors, namely, Goldman Sachs, Multiples Alternate Asset Management, and Premji Invest are planning a joint investment of $150-200 million/ INR 1,125-1,500 crores in seafood and meat brand Licious. This will value the company at $800 million post-investment.

The Bengaluru-based brand plans to use the proceeds to expand its product offerings. Multiples will lead this round of financing, which will also include a fresh issue of shares, while some early investors may sell part of their stake in the company. Existing investors will also invest in this round by injecting small amounts of capital so they can retain their stake.
