    Silver futures decline amid weak demand

    NEW DELHI: Silver futures on Friday dropped Rs 340 to Rs 68,200 per kg as participants reduced their bets on low demand.

    On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery tumbled by Rs 340, or 0.5 per cent, to Rs 68,200 per kg in a business turnover of 9,026 lots.

    Silver traded lower by 0.44 per cent at USD 25.85 per ounce in New York.
