    Share price of HPCL falls as Sensex gains 138.71 points

    The share price of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. dropped 0.51 per cent to Rs 235.8 at 12:46PM (IST) in Friday's trade. The counter has hit a high of Rs 240.0 and low of Rs 235.3 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 237.0 in the previous session.

    The counter has had a total traded volume of 56155 shares so far with a value of Rs 1.33 crore on the NSE. It traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 4.53 and a price-to-book ratio of 0.94.

    Profit for the latest quarter stood at Rs 2373.71 crore, up 131.08 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
