Samsung Galaxy Note 9 starts receiving April 2021 security update

Samsung has acquired a new route for updates by updating almost all its premium and mid-range Galaxy smartphones to the latest version of Android and latest security patches.
The company has now started rolling out a new update for two-generation old Galaxy Note 9 smartphones. The update brings April month’s Android security update to it, as per a report by SamMobile.
The update carries firmware version N9600ZHS7FUD1 and is currently rolling out in South America. However, it is soon expected to arrive in other regions as well.
It is being rolled out via over-the-air update and Galaxy Note 9 users should receive the update notification. In case you haven’t, you can head to Settings, Software update option and tap on Download and install option on the screen to get the update.
As mentioned, this is just a monthly Android security update. It does not bring any noticeable improvements to the smartphone.
