While fans and family of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput are still mourning his death and are waiting for CBI to resolve the death mystery at the earliest, filmmaker Dilip Gulati is all set to release his upcoming film 'Nyay: The Justice' on June 11 which highlights some of the important incidents related to SSR's death. The film, which was announced two months after Sushant Singh Rajput passed away features Zuber Khan as Mahendra Singh. Now, ahead of the film's release, Zoom Digital had an exclusive interview with Zuber, who is the lead actor of the movie. During the same, Zuber opened up about knowing Sushant in person as they used to work out at the same gym. Besides that fact, he also pointed out some similarities between him and the late actor. He started with, 'There are a lot of similarities. My birthday is on March 21 and his birthday was on January 21. He did Balaji and I did Balaji. His first character name was Preet (Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil) and mine was Manpreet (Kasam). There are many similarities. The way he had the passion for reading, I have the passion for the same. I love dancing, he used to dance. He used to martial arts and even I do. The most important coincidence was that where he came and lived in his initial days, even I was living in that house. So, I could relate.' He added, 'Even the make-up room where I used to sit as Manpreet Singh Bedi, he used to sit as Preet for 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil'. All the makers and production house members used to give me an example of Sushant. He is one of my inspirations. I resembled a lot of things. The way he got inspired by Shah Rukh sir, I am inspired by him (SRK). Sushant's acting included Shah Rukh's acts so much. Same as mine - that's what I think and what people told me. There were many similarities that I related to the character so much.' Zuber also went on to reveal that he used to hear echoes of Sushant. He said, 'When I was shooting, I was getting echoes of his voice, you know, when he used to tell me everything. During the performance, I cried so many times. I could feel the pain and emotions that he went through. All the scenes that I have done in the film, I have taken them so seriously. Many people told me after 3 months, you have to come out of the character. Don't be in that zone but it was happening.'
