Cerebra Integrated Technologies Limited has announced on Friday that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to set up a one of its kind refinery in India and also other earmarked places in India and abroad.
This South African Refinery Company is part of a three decade old organisation with a focus on recycling and metals benefication.
Through it’s Urban Mining business unit, the South African Refinery Company has an established involvement in the recovery and refining of gold, silver, platinum group metals and base metals from E-Waste.
The South African Refinery Company will be providing technical and engineering services for the cost-effective establishment of a processing facility for the E-Waste collected in India and also assist to refine all gold, silver and platinum group metals recovered from this E-Waste which is collected PAN India.
With the above agreement in place Cerebra bridges the gapfor refining. The larger plan is to establish processing facilities in India (Bangalore, Mumbai & Delhi) and abroad.

Cerebra is currently working with Consumer Electronic OEM’s to fulfil the EPR commitments.
Cerebra has acquired lot of MNCs as its clients for E-Waste Collection and through one such acquaintance this South African Refinery Company approached Cerebra for recovery and refining of precious group metals (PGM).
The Company has set up its collection network across India to enable the collection of consumer electrical & electronics E-waste directly from the end user, repair centres, retailers. Cerebra supports producers by providing state-of-the-art services, assuring consistency and legal compliance.
Cerebra Integrated Technologies Limited has geared up with collection teams PAN India, opened offices in Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Noida and Bangalore for collections, appointed channel partners in South India who shall procure on behalf of Cerebra for the client, these can be retailers, individual business houses etc.
Cerebra Integrated Technologies ended at Rs52.40 apiece up by Rs1.55 or 3.05% from its previous closing of Rs50.85 apiece on Sensex.
