Pakistan temporarily bans Social Media platforms- Check out why!
Social Media has been banned in the neighbour country Pakistan. Though, the reasons behind it are not clear yet.

Social media platforms Twitter, Instagram, Whatsapp, and others, have been banned in the neighboring nation Pakistan from 11 am till 3 pm, as per the information provided by the Interior Ministry of the nation.
Well, also, the ministry told Geo News that the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority had suspended the social media platforms on its instructions.
Well, the action was taken after the Interior Ministry sent a letter to the chairman. It read, “I am directed to the refer to the subject cited above and to state that complete access to social media platforms may be blocked from 11 am to 3 pm on the 16th of April, across the country”.
Further, it said, “It is requested that further action may be taken on the subject matter under the information to this ministry”, as quoted by ANI.
Furthermore, a PTA official in a conversation with Geo News, “In order to maintain public order and safety, access to certain social media platforms has been restricted temporarily”; as quoted by ANI.

However, according to the various media reports, Law Enforcement Agencies are in apprehension that the TLP supporters might create an environment of jeopardy on Friday Prayers.
Actually, the TLP has been carrying protests against the incarceration of their leader Saad Hussain Rizvi, who was taken into custody this week.
Also, three people; two policemen among them have been killed in these massive protests; according to the reports of Geo News.
