With reference to the global outbreak of COVID-19,
Hind Rectifiers Limited has informed that the Company continues to follow the guidance issued by the Central Government/State Government/ Municipal Authorities/Local Government Offices and other Regulatory Authorities and the Company has been taking a series of measures to ensure safety and health of all its employees.
In view of the SOP announced by the Maharashtra Government for break the chain, the operations of the Nashik plant have started with around 50% capacity w.e.f. 15th April 2021.
The Company intends to start Mumbai plant in a day or two with approx 50% capacity. The Company is exploring various possibilities for improving capacity utilization.
Under the circumstances, the overall adverse impact on the operations of the Company would not be immediately assessable. The executive employees of the Company have been instructed to work from home as per the Government and regulatory directives. The safety and well-being of the employees remain our top priority in these uncertain times.
The Company also recognizes that the situation is evolving rapidly and the Company will continue to closely monitor the situation and take appropriate action as per the directions issued by regulatory authorities from time to time.
At around 2:25 PM, Hind Rectifiers was trading at Rs129.75 apiece up by Rs8.25 or 6.79% from its previous closing of Rs121.50 apiece on the BSE.
