Bad Bunny Presale: Are Tickets Still Available After Ticketmaster Crash?
Presale tickets for Bad Bunny's new concert tour, which were available from Ticketmaster on Thursday, sold out in seconds in many cities. The website was reported to have crashed during the presale, according to several posts from Twitter users attempting to buy tickets.
Fans have another chance to bag tickets on Friday when tickets for the general public go on sale at 12 p.m. local time.
At the time of reporting, the Ticketmaster website stated the "presale is happening now" for different cities. Depending on the location, there may be some tickets available. Check the website for the latest availability.
Fans can also try to get tickets via the second-hand sale websites StubHub and Viagogo, where some tickets are also currently on sale.
It is unknown whether the Ticketmaster website could potentially crash again during Friday's general sale and whether more tickets will be available after Friday. Newsweek has contacted Ticketmaster for comment.
The Puerto Rican rapper/singer announced his latest tour on Monday. Presale tickets for the tour titled "El Último Tour del Mundo 2022" went on sale Thursday via Ticketmaster.
Ticketmaster tweeted Thursday: "If you still need @sanbenito [Bad Bunny] presale code, use mine! It's TMFAN. Let me know which show you're going to."
Several Twitter users replied to that tweet, with several receiving error messages. Some reported they were pushed to the back of the queue after being informed they were next in line to for the purchase.
In a reply to Ticketmaster's Thursday tweet, user @vegaxsab shared a screenshot of a message at the website, which said: "We apologize for the interruption." The user tweeted: "Call ya IT department and get ya servers fixed pls I'm trying to buy my tickets." The post received over 100 likes since it was posted.
The Ticketmaster message the user shared read: "We are currently experiencing technical difficulties and our team is working to resolve this as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Please check back soon to continue."
A screenshot of that message from Ticketmaster was shared by several other users on the Twitter thread.
User @Jesslop07 also pleaded: "Fix your servers," sharing a screenshot of an error message. The tweet has received nearly 300 likes since it was posted.
User @alexadgcx tweeted: "Can y'all make a statement cause i was literally next in line for tickets and the site CRASHED so when y'all fixin it." The post received nearly 200 likes since it was shared.
User @julieta_ble replied: "It's the way y'all played with my feelings and kicked me out like I didn't waste 2 hours of work doing nothing," also sharing a screenshot of an error message. The tweet has received over 100 likes since it was posted.
