Two shops sealed, 50 kg rotten items destroyed, fine recovered in Kulgam

Anantnag, Apr 15 (UNI) To curb marketing and profiteering besides keeping a vigil on erring shopkeepers, civil administration and police conducted a joint drive in south Kashmir district of Kulgam on Thursday, a police spokesman said this evening.
He said during the market checking in Kulgam main town and adjacent areas, a fine of Rs 8200 was collected from erring shopkeepers.
Besides, he said, 50 Kg Rotten items were destroyed and 02 Shops were sealed.
He said the drive will continue in the district.
