Muthoot Finance declares interim dividend of 200% for FY21; Stock falls 2%

The dividend will be paid to the shareholders on or before 11th May, 2021.

Muthoot Finance Ltd, India`s largest gold loan company on 12th April, 2021 declared an interim dividend of 200% ie., Rs.20 per share of Rs.10 face value for the financial year 2020-21.

The dividend will be paid to the shareholders on or before 11th May, 2021.

This will involve a dividend payout of Rs802cr. For previous financial year, Company had paid a dividend of 150% ie., Rs.15 per share. The Record Date for reckoning the shareholders who shall be entitled to receive the said dividend shall be 23rd April, 2021.

Since financial year 2011-12 , Company has declared dividend every year and cumulative dividend declared amounts to Rs4077cr including the Dividend Distribution Tax.

Muthoot Finance was trading at Rs1,149.20 apiece down by Rs24.1 or 2.05% from its previous closing of Rs1,173.30 apiece on the BSE, at around 10:45 AM.
