Hyderabad: The Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development of Telangana K.Tarakarama Rao, participated in the development programs in the districts of Jadcherla, Mahbubnagar, and said that those who are eligible will get new ration cards and aasara pension.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Srinivas Reddy, former Minister and member of the TRS Assembly, accompanied Laxma Reddy and others.
KTR said after the establishment of the Telangana state, every sector is progressing fast. He advised the opposition and the people of the state to take note of the difference before and after the formation of the Telangana.
He added that during the Congress and the Telugu Desam regime there was a war crisis to obtain the pension, while the TRS government is giving pensions to 40 lakh people in the state, and soon the government will introduce new ration cards and aasara- issue pensions to qualifying persons.
In the past, KTR said there were power outages in April and May, but since Telangana Rashtra Samiti formed the government in the state, 24 hours of electricity have been provided.
He also praises the efforts of Laxma Reddy to set up IT centers in Jadcherla, which will be a blessing in the development of the district. He said Minister KCR is working on a vision to develop the rural and urban areas of the state.
To emphasize the other schemes, KTR said that in order to eradicate illiteracy, the state government set up residential schools in which 1.25 lakh is spent on each student, while those pursuing higher education receive compensation for fees. In view of the covid-19 crisis, Rs.2000 as allowance and 25 kg of rice per month are given by the state government to the private school teachers.
