12 Raigarh villages vaccinate all above 45+ age group

RAIPUR: As many as 12 village panchayats of Raigarh district have completed 100% target of vaccinating all people above 45 years of age. District collector Bhim Singh during his recent visit to Tamnar Tehsil felicitated sarpanch, secretary and mitanins of 12 village panchayats including Chitwahi, Dolesara, Bajramuda, Urba, Lalpur, Kodakel, Milupara, Saraipali, Mauhapali, Gaurbahri, Hinjhar and Amgaon to complete the target of 100 per cent vaccination of people above 45 years of age.

RAIPUR: As many as 12 village panchayats of Raigarh district have completed 100% target of vaccinating all people above 45 years of age. District collector Bhim Singh during his recent visit to Tamnar Tehsil felicitated sarpanch, secretary and mitanins of 12 village panchayats including Chitwahi, Dolesara, Bajramuda, Urba, Lalpur, Kodakel, Milupara, Saraipali, Mauhapali, Gaurbahri, Hinjhar and Amgaon to complete the target of 100 per cent vaccination of people above 45 years of age.


Singh said that the responsibility and awareness shown by the sarpanchs, secretaries, mitanins, public representatives and employees of various panchayats of Tamnar development block is commendable during these difficult times. This will also inspire other village panchayats to gear up their works and we will soon be able to achieve our target of 100 per cent vaccination of people above 45 years of age.

The collector said that the administration has a complete focus on promoting Covid-19 vaccination of people above 45 years amidst surge in coronavirus cases. For this, the entire administrative staff is making every possible effort to meet the targets of vaccination every day and to get maximum eligible persons get vaccinated.In addition to the administrative efforts, public representatives are also being encouraged to motivate people in their area to get vaccinated.

Village Chitwahi Sarpanch Vedmati Sidar and Secretary Mahendra Patel, Dolesara village Sarpanch Kishtri Paikra and secretary Santoshi Shriwas, Bajramuda village Sarpanch Banshilal Sidar and secretary Haldhal Patel, Uraba village Sarpanch Ramdulari Rathia and secretary Ravindra Nishad, Lalpur village Sarpanch Sukanti Rathia and Secretary Mohan Lal Patel, Kodakel village Sarpanch Ramila Sidar and Secretary Krital Sahu were among those felicitated on the occasion.
